Here’s a quick reminder on how to keep yourself and others safe on November 5th. These are the children’s actual words after learning about the Firework Code
- Stay away
- You shouldn’t hold a sparkly without a glove
- Always stay away from a fire
- Don’t run about
- Don’t go out useless adult! (I think she means ‘Don’t go out unless with an adult’)
- No touching the fire
- No escaping out the garden
- Keep your fireworks in a safety can
- Stay inside if you can or go out if you’re careful
- Keep pets inside or they might be scared
- After you light fireworks, don’t chase them or go back or try again. Just don’t. Even if you are a grown up!
