Starting your Christmas shopping?

Eyton PTA has signed up to to raise funds for Eyton School. All you need to do is download the app or visit the site Each time you go to buy something online, go via the app and the retailer will then make a donation at no extra cost to you. It gives a running total and the donation goes to school every three months (not just for Christmas). Please tell all your family and friends about this ASAP. The more people that use it for their Christmas shopping, the more £££ for school!

Many thanks to Mrs Lambert for organising this. We will keep you updated with reviews of how easy/tricky it is via the facebook page and our website page

Next meeting:

Thursday 17th October 5-7pm – during the Pyjama Party.

‘Proms in the Park’ May 23rd 2019

A big thank you to everyone who came to the ‘proms in the park’ afternoon tea yesterday. It was a great success, the weather was glorious and the tea flowed all afternoon. The youngest children began the afternoon’s festivities telling the story ‘My Cat Likes To Hide In Boxes’ by Eve Sutton, then sang all the songs they have been learning with Mr Fisher. After a short break for sandwiches and tea, Mrs Collins’ class showed their talent for singing in parts and varying tone and volume. Following another break for scones and strawberry opera cake, Mr Griffiths’ class showed everyone how well our children sing after a few years working with Mr Fisher. Thank you Mr Fisher!

More tea and cake was then served, meanwhile a very important message was delivered by a few children outlining the key points of Martin Luther King’s speech ‘I have a dream’. Then, led by Mrs Whitgreave, the whole school performed ‘If I Can Dream’ by Elvis and Labi Siffre’s ‘Something Inside So Strong’. Mrs Whitgreave then thanked everyone for coming and explained how important it is for children to have the opportunity to perform to a live audience. Mrs Whitgreave complimented the PTA on such a lovely event and thanked them for their hard work putting together such a memorable afternoon. Florence and Jack finished off the afternoon by playing the piano, the whole audience was delighted and in awe of their talent at such a young age.

Thanks to everyone who came along and supported our children by drinking enough tea to sink a battleship! Well done everyone who baked and chilled, buttered and jammed! A special thank you to our cake makers, especially whoever made the coffee and walnut cake which was raffled and made £43 for our school children’s future trips and learning experiences.

Come along to the Stiwt in Rhos for a fun sing-a-long Friday March 29th 2019!

Tickets £6 available from the Stiwt or from Mrs Clare Edwards (Betsan’s Mum)

7th Feb 2019 minutes

Many thanks to everyone who bought Christmas cards this year. It was a great fundraising idea as well as a great lesson/workshop for the older children about using a greenscreen! There will not be a final total of money raised as some of the payments  got mixed in with the Christmas Fair money. We think it’s about £140 profit. Well done us – this will pay for the bus to take the children to the cinema.

Here are some other ways we raise money.
