I just want to say a big thank you to everyone who has supported me over the last few weeks. I completed the race on Saturday morning. I walked/ran 5.5k in the end, I couldn’t stop at 5k as I would be in the middle of the village and nowhere near my well-deserved cup of tea and bacon sandwich! I really enjoyed the race on the day, but not the training beforehand. I think I will continue to go for little walks and runs, and may even enter next year’s race, we will have to see. I have raised approximately £350 for Cancer Research UK to help find cures or at least an earlier diagnosis. Thank you to everyone who has sponsored me online and those who have put spare change in my collection bottle. I will leave the bottle by the gate at hometimes for the rest of the week in case anyone finds a spare 50p to pop in.
