This term we have been making cupcakes and welsh cakes but with the Great British Bake Off due any time now, Year 2 announced “It’s about time we get more creative with our baking”. So here’s our first effort from our Quick and Easy Cake Book! According to the book, it has simple step by step instructions but we still managed to put the peaches upside down and dropped the cake on the floor when covering with foil. (Luckily the cake mixture stayed in the tin, so no real harm done.)  

Next week’s group will be making Pineapple Sunflower Cupcakes (as seen on the cover of the Tesco magazine). Wish us luck!
